A gorgeous pair of?onyx and diamond earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910) era!?Crafted in 18kt yellow gold topped with platinum,?each of these stunning earrings features a teardrop-shaped onyx stone that swings from a sparkling diamond surmount. A shimmering row of accent diamonds?lines the bottom of the polished onyx, and resting at the top is a?bezel-set old Mine Cut diamond. Four additional diamonds, each held in a graduated square-shaped bezel, form the dangling surmount that hangs from a round onyx topper. Fine milgrain detail can be found throughout?the piece, finishing the lovely design. Attached to the topper is a clasped lever back earring wire, providing extra security when worn. The earrings frame the face with lovely movement, allowing the diamonds to sparkle beautifully as they catch the light. Perfect worn day or night, these earrings would make a fabulous addition to any collection!?
